Liverpool FC’s new home uniform for the 2024–2025 season has been formally presented.

The uniform will be the first the Reds wear under new manager Arne Slot the following season. It is anticipated to be worn for the season’s final home game, Jurgen Klopp’s farewell match on May 19 against Wolves.

The uniform is allegedly based on the design that won the European Cup in 1984 (see below). The YNWA motto of the club is engraved into the shirt’s fabric in a chrome yellow pattern that is part of Liverpool FC’s historical uniform design that has been updated for the current game.

“The jersey features a distinctive collar that pays homage to the ’84 team’s trademark collar with classic yellow and red details. There is side panelling in white and yellow on the short and shirt.

The jersey’s back has the 97 insignia, surrounded by eternal flames, which is worn with pride at the nape of the neck as a tribute to those who were wrongfully slain in the Hillsborough disaster.
Pre-orders for the new kit can be placed starting today on LFC’s official website, at official LFC stores (both internationally and in the UK), and through the LFC Retail App. Orders will be fulfilled starting on May 16th.

Regarding the new outfit, Captain Virgil van Dijk remarks, “I like the detailing.” It’s quite special to have You’ll Never Walk Alone on it; it’s the club’s culture displayed on the uniform with pride.

As in previous seasons, there will be a 10% discount off the price of the home shirt for all LFC official members and season ticket holders. Essential professionals in the UK can access this through Blue Light and Network, while students can do so through Student Beans.
