RASMUS HOJLUND is the most recent player to say that his early ambition was to play for Manchester United.

But the Red Devils’ new £72 million forward has the evidence! Twenty-year-old Hojlund disclosed a statement he wrote for a school assignment when he was ten years old describing his two football objectives.

Both have become reality in less than 10 years, which is a big gain for the “winner child” who motivates the dedicated Dane to keep developing.

Hojlund wrote ten years ago, “I want to play for Manchester United and the Danish national team.” He then read TV2 Sport the letter.

Dream part one materialized in September with the first of his six senior caps.

And United completed the second half of the goal last Thursday by successfully fending off PSG’s last-minute desire to complete his move from Atalanta.

Hojlund says it all comes down to having lofty goals and the guts to go for them. In the other case, your goals will not be achieved.

Everything seldom comes together in one package, but with Manchester United and myself, I would say everything has just clicked. That is the best fit.

“There is a process going on in the club right now, and I would really like to be involved.

I also moved here because I think I can grow with the squad and, with any luck, we can win a lot of trophies together.

Copenhagen-born hitman also posted a picture of himself as a young student sporting United shirts alongside his younger brothers, Emil and Oscar.

His brothers wore red shirts, but Rasmus wore black.

He remembered being “very small” when he initially started to support United.

“I think that Rasmus at ten would probably be “buzzing,” as they say over here in England,” Holland said.

“I’ve followed that because (he) set himself a goal,” the speaker stated.

But Holland will be out of the first two United games because of a preseason injury he got while playing for Atalanta.
