ERLING Haaland is living in a fantasy world – after becoming a surprise new character in his favourite video game.
The Manchester City superstar, 23, is a huge fan of Clash of the Clans and from today players will be able to recruit him as the Barbarian King.

Haaland said: ‘I’ve been a huge fan, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool’
Posting on social media, Haaland said: “From the pitch to the battlefield!
“I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time and know everything about it, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool.”
Since its first release more than ten years ago, it has been downloaded over two billion times, making it one of the most played mobile games worldwide at the moment.
In a power struggle, players construct their own hamlet and conduct raids against adversaries.
Stuart McGaw, general manager of Clash of Clans, said: “When we heard Haaland was a fan of our game and that he wanted to partner with us, it was really a dream scenario.”
