Roy Keane ruffled a lot of feathers when he branded Erling Haaland a ‘League Two player’ after Manchester City’s draw with Arsenal.
This Sunday, Man City easily defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0, including a pivotal goal from Haaland, who made a comeback from injury.
Reacting to Haaland’s performance, the Manchester United legend hilariously said on Sky Sports: “He was very much like a Championship player, he has improved a lot! In terms of a goalscorer he is absolutely amazing, there’s no doubting his quality in terms of his finishing.
“When he’s coming on he will want to have an impact on the game and when it’s stretched like that he’s got people like De Bruyne, he’s going to find you and then it’s just that bit of sharpness which he has shown.”
This marks Haaland’s 21st Premier League goal this season despite struggling with injuries throughout.
As for Keano, Man United fans can’t wait to see what he compares Haaland to next!
