Clinton Morrison alleges that Mohamed Salah was “fuming” with a player from Liverpool at Old Trafford today.
Luis Diaz gave Liverpool the lead at Manchester United in the 23rd minute, setting the stage for an incredible start.
Early in the game, Alejandro Garnacho of United did had the ball in the net, but the call was for offside.
After that, Jurgen Klopp’s team rapidly took control of the game and had a few chances prior to Diaz’s opening goal.
One went to Dominik Szoboszlai, but Andre Onana made a fantastic stop to keep it out of his reach.
But Darwin Nunez also had a chance to play in Mohamed Salah after a deft move as Liverpool began to exploit United’s defense.
After Salah got a yard on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the 24-year-old was given the chance to play through the Egyptian.
Salah became enraged when Nunez failed to raise his head in time, causing the attack to fizzle out.
Clinton Morrison, who was hosting BBC Radio 5 Live, saw the opportunity and stated that Salah was upset with his teammate.
The analyst declared, “He is furious, Mohamed Salah; he wanted the early ball from Darwin Nunez.”
Thankfully, Nunez provided the assist, and Liverpool did not have to wait long to find a breakthrough.
When the Uruguayan cut back toward the back post, Diaz was there to tap the ball in easily.
