Darwin Nunez was the recipient of a Liverpool corner kick as he glanced a header toward the back post.

With an impressive acrobatic effort, Diaz volleyed the ball home while standing in acres of space.

Man Utd supporters criticized their team’s set-piece defense strategy.

“Not a single United player was marking Diaz,” one person stated. Complete chaos.”

Another said, “Congrats, United. incapable of even holding a basic corner.”

More furious: “Nobody picking up Diaz allowing him all that time and space is criminal.”

“Diaz had the whole of Manchester in space there,” yelled a fourth person.

With further rage, “Diaz sat there in ten yards of space in the six-yard box.”

A second fan said, “Sunday league defending.”

Diaz was able to run free because Kobbie Mainoo didn’t seem to know who he was supposed to be marking in the box, as noted by commentators Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

Roy Keane continued, saying, “The players aren’t accepting responsibility.

Set components require that you be turned on.”

Liverpool had a several chances in the first-half as they tore apart Man Utd’s defence time and time again after a strong start to the clash from Erik ten Hag’s side.

In the first forty-five minutes, Liverpool took 15 shots while the Red Devils attempted none.

It led to Neville saying it would be “a positive” if his former club got to the break at just 1-0 down, which they did.

“After 5–10 minutes, Liverpool took control of the game and ought to have been up 2-3,” yelled Keane.

For the time being, they have absolved United.

“At the end of the season, they might regret not taking these risks. You can take the game and run with it.

United had performed so mediocrely throughout the entire game.”

Three points would take Liverpool back to the top of the league after title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal both won yesterday.
