ONE Crystal Palace player has infuriated Eagles fans during their clash with Manchester City.
Daniel Munoz was spotted asking City star Erling Haaland for his shirt at HALF TIME.
Crystal Palace fans have been left fuming at Daniel Munoz
Munoz asked Erling Haaland to swap shirts with him at half time
Haaland obliged with the pair swapping their shirts before they had even left the pitch
Munoz asked the Norwegian striker for his shirt while the pair were heading towards the tunnel after the first half came to an end.
Haaland obliged with the request giving the the Colombian defender his shirt while still trudging off the Selhurst Park pitch.
Fans inside the stadium took issue with the request while some online made their thought crystal clear too.
One fan wrote: “Seeing that Munoz was signed less than three months ago from Genk, it’s not a great first impression from the full back.”
While another added: “Dumb thing to do, he won’t do it again any time soon.”
A third joked: “Roy Keane won’t like that.”
And a fourth simply wrote: “Games gone.”
The scores were tied at 1-1 when both sides went in for the half-time break, but things went downhill for the London club in the second spell.
The City team, led by Pep Guardiola, sprang into gear and made sure they wouldn’t lose any ground in their quest for a FOURTH straight league championship.
In the first few minutes of play, goals from Rico Lewis, Kevin De Bruyne, and Haaland himself put the game beyond Oliver Glasner’s team.
Odsonne Edouard tried his hardest to get Palace back into the game, but his goal in the 86th minute served more as a solace than a motivator.
With their 4-1 victory, City moves up to tie with Liverpool and surpass their bitter rivals Arsenal, at least until their match against Brighton this afternoon.
