A further fascinating childhood connection between the pop sensation and the Kelce family has been discovered by some keen-eyed Swifties.
Following Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship since it became public last autumn, fans have probably already learned that Andy Reid, the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, was acquainted with Swift’s father, Scott Swift, and so knew Swift when she was a young child. During the previous NFL season, Reid made jokes about the link by teasing the Chiefs tight end about knowing Swift years before Travis.
Thanks to an image used in a film trailer for “Seven,” one of the songs on Swift’s 2020 album Folklore, Swifties are now able to identify a similarity in the vacation spot that the Swifts and Kelces visited years ago.

In the video, a young Swift is shown wearing shorts and a gray sweatshirt with the words “Sea Isle” written across the front in big, blocky letters. Her long, blonde hair falls down her back as she sits between the branches of the tree. The sweater was a tribute to the Jersey Shore town that Swift had gone to as a child on vacation in New Jersey with her parents. When Swift initially released the video in the summer of 2020, Sea Isle News covered the connection.
A Swiftie on X discovered the old picture of Swift appearing while listening to “Seven” on Spotify a few years later. The X user made comparisons between Swift’s childhood vacations in Sea Isle City and the Kelces, who have a connection to the area.
According to OCNJ Daily, Travis’ older brother Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie purchased a vacation house in Sea Isle City back in 2022. For the past few years, the former center for the Philadelphia Eagles has also hosted an annual fundraiser in the city to support the Eagles Autism Foundation. The center announced his intention to retire from the NFL last week.
One fan on X commented, “This is why I’m just so damn invested in their story,” while another thought the connection was “crazy.”
Another user tweeted, “The invisible strings are just gone.” It’s merely a chain with multiple links now! This is just not something you can make up!
