Taylor Swift has a devoted fan in Travis Kelce.
At his brother Jason Kelce’s retirement press conference on Monday, the attractive 34-year-old NFL great accessorised himself with multiple friendship bracelets that drew inspiration from Taylor Swift, including one that honoured his significant other.
During the touching event, Travis appeared to be holding Taylor near to his heart by donning a bracelet that read “T T,” as perceptive admirers on Twitter quickly noticed.
Small brown, black, and gold beads were used to create this poignant piece, which bears a striking resemblance to the $6,000 “TNT” diamond friendship bracelet he gave Swift last year.
.
Although the star player for the Kansas City Chiefs was wearing two more wristbands, it’s unclear what they said. But it appears that one of the engravings started, “Travis Kelce is a.”
When Travis reached for a tissue to wipe his eyes during Jason’s moving remarks, he proudly displayed the bracelets.
Travis was sitting in the front row with his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce. He was wearing a color-blocked button-down shirt.
Throughout the announcement, the two Kelce brothers were clearly impacted, with Travis trying to hide his tears behind a dark pair of sunglasses.
However, as soon as Jason took his spot at the podium, he started crying.
During his tearful speech, the veteran centre for the Philadelphia Eagles talked about his great career, his love for Philadelphia, and the impact Travis had on his path.
Jason said, “It was really my brother and I our whole lives.” “We engaged in nearly every activity together, including competition, conflict, laughter, tears, and mutual learning.”
“We created games and thought of ourselves as the best players of the era. We wanted to consistently make winning plays. Before we ever left the house, we had won innumerable Super Bowls in our imaginations. And we were at each other’s games when we weren’t playing.
Jason’s younger brother gave him a big hug as soon as he left the stage after he played in the NFL for 13 years.
Travis dressed properly for the event, while Jason, in true Jason manner, went for a more laid-back vibe by wearing a sleeveless Eagles shirt.
Still, the renowned centre wore sentimental jewellery at the press conference, just like his younger brother.
Jason was sporting a retired yellow gold Rolex GMT-Master II that matched the colours of the Eagles with a green dial and a black ceramic bezel.
The $50,000 watch was obtained by the now-retired NFL player after the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018.
Although Jason’s old teammates gifted him the ostentatious watch, it’s still unknown where Travis got his bracelets or if he made them himself, given that’s how Swift first saw him.
Alternatively, it’s possible that Swifties sent him the customised jewellery when he was in Sydney for one of the “Cruel Summer” singer’s Eras tour dates last month.
The three-time Super Bowl champion was observed wearing a wrist full of friendship bracelets that she had exchanged with spectators throughout the game.
