With his return to training at Carrington, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is apparently getting closer to playing for the first team again.
In the closing minutes of United’s September Premier League loss to Brighton at Old Trafford, the right-back suffered a hamstring injury that required him to be substituted. As to the Daily Mail, Wan-Bissaka has resumed his outdoor training after a hiatus from the gym, although he is still working on his fitness on his own.
The United medical staff hopes to get the defender back in action in the next ten days, but in the meantime, he will miss Sunday’s derby against Manchester City.
However, with regulars Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez expected to miss a lot of time due to injury, Red Devils supporters will be happy to see the full-back returning.
In the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night against Newcastle United, Erik ten Hag might make Wan-Bissaka’s debut. If not, the defender might play on November 4 at Craven Cottage against Fulham.
