‘THE SWEETEST THING!’:Heartwarming moment Taylor Swift gives an unlucky young girl a special wish at a concert in Sydney

On Friday, Taylor Swift made a nine-year-old child who was terminally ill’s wish come true.

During the first stop of her Eras tour in Sydney, Swift gave her signed ’22’ fedora to child Scarlett, who is battling a severe type of brain cancer.

While performing her song 22, Taylor has a custom of awarding a signature hat to one fortunate fan in the crowd.

On social media, Scarlett’s stepmother Natalie had previously expressed her stepdaughter’s desire to meet Taylor.

Natalie wrote in the article, “Scarlett was awarded a “Wish” from the Make A Wish Foundation, and her wish was to meet Taylor Swift.

On Friday, Taylor Swift made a nine-year-old child who was terminally ill’s wish come true. Swift selected child Scarlett, who is battling an aggressive type of brain cancer, to receive her signature “22” fedora at the first of her Sydney gigs on her Eras tour.

They sadly told us it couldn’t happen, so we used social media and some kind people to help pull off the performance and sell out.

Then she shared a picture of Scarlett holding a placard that said, “Taylor, can I have the 22 hat please?” Scarlett has only been given 12 to 18 months to live.

Later on in the concert, Taylor gave an order based on the young girl’s wish.

The singer called Scarlett up to the platform, hugged her, gave her the fedora, and then gave her a little peck on the hands.

The singer invited Scarlett up to the stage, embraced her while she handed over the fedora, then tenderly kissed her hands

Scarlett was called up to the stage by the singer, who gave her a hug and a loving kiss on the hands as she passed the fedora to her.

Many followers responded favourably to the touching event when it was posted on social media and captured on camera.

One person wrote, “Sobbing,” while another posted several sobbing emojis.

It’s the cutest thing ever! “She really deserves it!” yelled a second Swiftie.

One person said, “Aw, they picked the right Swiftie,” while another, “Not even there, and my sister and I are crying.”

I’m crying uncontrollably. So priceless! One more individual said.
