During their time off from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi went to an NBA game in New York City, where the Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs were playing. With a remarkable performance that included 25 points, Kevin Durant helped the Nets win 139-103. Mbappe and Hakimi got to meet Durant, and they even posed for pictures on the court, with Hakimi showing off her Nets jersey with pride.
Mbappe posted a photo of the group to his Instagram, calling the evening “special.” The PSG pair had the opportunity to congratulate the Nets players in the locker room following the game. Mbappe wished them luck for the upcoming season and said how much he enjoyed the game.
Mbappe and Hakimi will now concentrate on their return to PSG after their NBA game. After their international responsibilities in Qatar, manager Christophe Galtier had first given them a few days free to recuperate.
Galtier may choose to rest Mbappe and Hakimi for PSG’s next French Cup encounter against Chateauroux, a team from a lower division. Their anticipated next Ligue 1 match is on January 11 versus Angers.
As for the Brooklyn Nets, they have won 25 of their first 37 games this season, and they are still leading the Eastern Conference.
