Taylor Swift about Travis Kelce singing ‘You Belong With Me’ to her

”Are you in love with me?” Kelce inquired while Swift’s popular song “You Belong With Me” played.

At a Sunday night Super Bowl afterparty, Travis Kelce had a very important question, and he utilised Taylor Swift’s song “You Belong With Me” to ask it.

Swift, 34, and Kelce, 34, partied at Zouk nightclub at Resorts World in Las Vegas on Sunday night in celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.

The Chiefs’ triumph and Swift’s attendance at the club were celebrated with a 2008 hit song by The Chainsmokers, who also served as the event’s DJ, as seen in a TikTok video.

In the video, Kelce can be heard belting out the song. The tight end changed the lyrics significantly when he reached the chorus.

As he pointed to himself in the video, he sang, “Are you in love with me?” rather than, “You belong with me.” Before embracing Drew Taggert, Kelce, who was in the DJ booth alongside The Chainsmokers at the moment, danced to the song’s club remix.

Taggert told Kelce, “I didn’t know if I should play it or not,” according to a caption in the video.

According to the video commentary, The Chainsmokers “moved a song in the setlist up for the occasion,” and it was “worth it.”

Regarding Swift, it didn’t seem like she was in the DJ booth when “You Belong With Me” was playing. As he sang “Are you in love with me?” Kelce turned to face someone who wasn’t on camera.

On TikTok, Keleigh Teller posted an alternate perspective of the incident in which Swift is seen pointing at Kelce. When the song “Why can’t you see/you belong with me” started, Swift pointed, sang along, and lifted her glass to someone.

Swift and Kelce shared an embrace and kissed on the pitch after the Chiefs’ thrilling overtime win.
