Adidas and Manchester United have quietly released their second collection together, this time with the famous designer Peter Saville. The color wheel from the New Order album was the inspiration for this special collection.

Peter Saville is a famous artist who was born and raised in Manchester. He has worked with Manchester United and first showed off the Pulsebeat line last year.

The only visually recognizable aspect of the original “Blue Monday” artwork is the color scheme. It can be translated into Latin using the alphabet key included in the collection. “Concilio et Labore” is the City of Manchester’s motto. This alludes to Saville’s personal connections to the city as well as the club. He headed the creative department of a city-based company from 2005 to 2015.
