‘WALL OF FIRE’: Conor Bradley’s ‘Impressive’ performance shines as Liverpool beat Norwich to reach FA Cup fifth round

Following a 5-2 victory over Norwich City at Anfield on Sunday, Liverpool advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Five of the previous eight seasons had concluded with a round four loss for Liverpool. However, goals from Curtis Jones, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch propelled Jurgen Klopp’s squad to the round of sixteen.

This was the first match for Liverpool since Klopp announced his departure from the club at the conclusion of the current season on Friday.

Before kickoff, Klopp appeared moved as “You will Never Walk Alone” was being sung.

After that, he appeared ecstatic as Jones gave his team a 1-0 lead in the sixteenth minute on a superb goal from teenage James McConnell.

Norwich drew level with Liverpool in the middle of the first half on a header from Ben Gibson, but the visitors quickly retook the lead on a two-touch finish by Nunez.

Eight minutes after the intermission, Jota extended Liverpool’s lead before Van Dijk converted a Dominik Szoboszlai corner kick to make the score 4-1.

Borja Sainz scored from long range shortly after replacing Norwich in the lineup. In extra time, however, Gravenberch sealed a decisive victory for Liverpool.

Andy Robertson made his first appearance since sustaining a shoulder injury in October, contributing forty minutes for the Reds.

However, the opposing fullback for Liverpool was selected as the match’s Player of the Match.

In addition to five effective tackles, twenty-year-old right-back Conor Bradley completed three crucial passes, including assists for Nunez and Gravenberch.
