The Philadelphia Eagles are so convinced that their star center Jason Kelce should be inducted into the Hall of Fame that they released a 27-minute video in November that went into great depth about why the 36-year-old deserves to be in Canton.

The brothers talked about a since-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, by Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia, on the most recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast. Reuben Frank mentioned that Kelce is the 23rd offensive lineman in NFL history to make the first team all-pro at least five times and the Pro Bowl at least seven times.

What caused the tweet to be removed? Frank emphasized that Jim Tyrer, who killed his wife in 1980, was the only offensive lineman on the roster not inducted into the Hall of Fame. A lot of people thought the tweet was offensive.

The tweet was factual, so Jason didn’t object, but Travis referred to it as “the darkest LeBron stat of all time,” using the “New Heights” moniker for esoteric statistics.

Returning to Frank’s main argument, though, Jason claimed the writer has been supporting his Hall of Fame candidacy with a number of facts for a few years.

Travis, on the other hand, likes the official Eagles version.

“There’s nothing better than what the Eagles posted about you,” he stated. “The thirty-minute best-of film explaining why Jason Kelce is a Hall of Famer and why he went above and beyond in football? It was f****** incredible, dude. I sobbed. Furthermore, there is never a time when you ought to be crying. Man, that was awesome.”

Eagles analyst Fran Duffy explains what makes Jason unique in the video. The most significant play that he examined was the run-pass option (RPO), which the Eagles are able to implement thanks to Kelce’s special set.

“When people talk about hall of fame credentials, the question is asked: ‘Can you tell the story of this era of the NFL without talking about this player?'” The story is told by Duffy. It would be impossible to discuss modern football without mentioning RPOs, and it would be impossible to discuss RPOs without mentioning the Eagles’ role in both bringing them to the league and winning a Super Bowl with them. And the story of the Eagles’ incredible success would be incomplete without discussing Jason Kelce’s influence on those plans.”

Duffy explained how Kelce’s unique size—he is the second-lightest offensive tackle to participate in the NFL combine since 2001—and how his gravity help the Eagles’ system. Kelce also benefits from his footwork and balance.

Furthermore, Kelce plays a crucial role in the Eagles’ quarterback sneak, a play that is so successful the NFL may have to outlaw it.

In screen plays, where he had only been called for two holds in 920 plays before this season, Kelce further shines.

In the video, Duffy narrates, “Watching Kelce work in the screen game is like watching Michael Jordan with the ball in crunch time.” “He’s just Chris Rock on a microphone. He is a brush-wielding Picasso. He is the best at this, hands down.”

Jason questioned Travis on “New Heights” about if the video’s screen portion was what brought him to tears.

“Yes, it was. The screens were the cause,” claimed Travis. “You really are the guy of RPOs. In Jason Kelce’s absence, they would not be the same.”

On Sunday at 8:00 p.m., Jason and the Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round of the postseason.
