“You once told me that if I were going to bet on someone else, I should bet on myself. During Kobe Bryant’s induction into the Hall of Fame, his wife Vanessa Bryant remarked, “I’m delighted you gambled on yourself, you overachiever.”

 

 

Kobe Bryant has total confidence in his skills. He had put in a lot of effort and pushed himself to be the best. As a result, Bryant would usually take ownership of the situation and try to win the game for his team on the final shot. He always chose to bet on himself more than anyone else.

 

 

Furthermore, when Taylor Swift recently made the decision to reclaim the rights to all of her songs after losing some of them a few years earlier, she took a chance by saying that this was the “worst-case scenario.”
