While traveling to the African Cup of Nations with his Senegalese teammates, Sadio Mane, a former forward for Liverpool, proudly displayed his wife Aisha Tamba as his phone wallpaper.

Prior to leaving for the competition, on January 7, Mane wed Aisha in a ceremony held in Keur Massar, Senegal.

Aisha’s father, Amadou Tamba, has disclosed that she married the football player through a conventional arranged union; they did not go on dates prior to being married.

Additionally, he stated that Aisha, 18, and Mane, 31, first saw one other “more than two years ago” when Aisha and her mother visited his family.Mane departs for the Ivory Coast with his Senegal teammates in advance of the commencement of their African Cup of Nations championship defense.

Aisha was seen in the picture looking to be from their wedding. She was dressed in an elaborate, fitting, lacey outfit reminiscent of a mermaid, complete with long sleeves and a silky veil.

Local accounts state that the couple decided to wait until she turned 18 to marry, allowing her to complete her education, even though they were still in school at the time. It is said that Mane has been paying for her schooling.

He added that his choice to consent to the marriage was motivated by the fact that he had become close to the multimillionaire football player and respected his morals.
