After his great performance in the FA Cup win over Arsenal, Ibrahima Konate said that Liverpool was loving the challenge of going for four trophies.

Liverpool is still in a fight on four fronts after beating Arsenal 2-0 in the FA Cup. Jakub Kiwior scored an own goal, and Luis Diaz scored in stoppage time to give Liverpool the win.

Jurgen Klopp’s team was missing captain Virgil van Dijk and Mohamad Salah, but they were lucky in north London and stand-in captain Trent Alexander-Arnold’s great late cross set up the first goal. Diaz then scored a powerful late goal to seal a hard-fought win.

And Jurgen Klopp’s team almost won all four in 2022. 

They almost won the Premier League and the Champions League, but they didn’t. The Reds won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. 

Konate told the BBC, “Yes, I am very happy, but I think the team as a whole was the man of the match.” I am very pleased. We will be back for the next round. 

“Of course, I am pleased with how the season is developing.” We love playing so many games, even though it is hard. It was done two years ago, and we won two cups. I hope things are different this season [win more]. Wishing you the best.

Klopp told Konate he was the best player of the game.

He also said, “The new partner did great.” Joe Gomez, calm down. 

“It was really hard.” Today was full of good things.
