New Balance Furon Saka Signature ‘Seven Edition’ Released
Immediately after being presented with the commemorative ‘PFA Young Player of the Year’ boot, New Balance continued to provide Bukayo Saka with his next signature shoe called ‘Seven Edition’.
Recently, Bukayo Saka also used these boots in wins against Wolves and Lens

The new New Balance Furon v7 ‘Seven Edition’ football boots are predominantly white with some very prominent red patterns on the uppers. Motifs include: number 7, Est 2001 (Saka’s birth year), ‘Hope’, ‘Charity’, ‘Love always wins’.
The most prominent is the outsole with the prominent number 7 associated with Saka.
Saka has a special connection with the number 7: The saying “seventh heaven” literally translates to Extreme Joy – Saka’s first name Bukayo was given to him by his grandmother and means “adds to joy”. Bit tenuous? OK. Saka was born on 5th September, September deriving from the late English/Latin Septem, aka seven (originally the seventh month in the old Roman calendar). Still not having it? Fine. Saka joined Arsenals academy at seven years old. His debut came in the number 87, and he was given 77 the following season before being given the number seven by Arteta when he was just 18.

The upper is woven with Hypoknit fiber designed for better elasticity and maximum support for the player’s ball feeling, along with being covered with a more durable upper protective layer.
The shoe collar is tightly knitted to keep the shoe form stable during long periods of play. The shoe sole is made of special nylon to support multi-directional studs, flexible speed according to the competition situation. (The shoe studs are designed with 6 acceleration support studs and 3 deceleration support studs, strengthening ability to hold the field)

The bias edge (lace part) with perforated cover layer increases the ball contact area and enhances the ability to hug the instep without feeling uncomfortable.
The seamless tongue is knitted with the Hypoknit upper to create a light, breathable feeling as well as increase the ability to stretch along the instep, shaping the shoe form. Along with that, the weaving of Hypoknit yarn combined with the weaving of the entire shoe from the upper to the achilles heel can make it seem like you are wearing a pair of socks.
This is a shoe designed for players who are inclined toward speed and attack, with a stud structure designed to support acceleration and woven fibers to increase ball feel. The one-sided tongue design will help increase the ball contact area on the wearer’s instep, along with providing a better feeling of kicking the ball.
It can be seen that compared to brands like NIKE or PUMA, New Balance offers a line of boots that is a bit less technological. But in 2023, the FURON V7 PRO TF version is the shoe that is considered the best in the shoe line.
