Goalkeeper Bernd Leno acted unkindly towards the ball boy during Fulham’s 0-3 loss to Bournemouth

In the 79th minute, when Fulham was leading 0-2, Leno wanted to quickly put the ball into play. When the ball boy walked forward to hand the ball to Leno, the German goalkeeper immediately grabbed it and suddenly used his hand to push the boy away. Leno was said to be unhappy that the ball boy was trying to wastle time.

However, the former Arsenal star’s bad move made Bournemouth fans angry. One fan said: “What a shame for Leno.”

“You can’t do that to a boy,” another person said indignantly.

One fan agreed: “Why did Leno do that to the boy? Kick him off the field.”

However, the referee did not give any penalty to the 31-year-old goalkeeper. When the staff asked about the situation, the boy replied: “I’m fine.” According to The Sun, Leno went to apologize to the ball boy.

Referee Tim Robinson signaled for the match to continue. Afterwards, the king in black chatted with a security member of the home team and the ball boy was moved to his seat in the stands.

Fulham coach Marco Silva said: “Leno is a professional player, he wanted to quickly put the ball into play, but the ball boys held them a bit too long. Leno only touched the boy, but did not strongly push. That’s are two different actions”.

In this match, Bournemouth won 3-0 thanks to goals from Justin Kluivert, Dominic Solanke and Luis Siniterra. Coach Andoni Iraola’s team continued to maintain high form and climbed to 10th place on the Premier League rankings.
