The manager called the decision “ridiculous” as the Reds tried to score a killer second goal.
Liverpool won the Premier League, but JURGEN KLOPP was furious about the “insane” judging.
Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota scored goals at Turf Moor to beat Burnley.

But the manager of Anfield was very angry when VAR ruled that Harvey Elliott’s goal in the second half was not a goal. Simon Hooper, Mo Salah was offside, but he was in custodian James Trafford’s line of sight.
Klopp was angry because he thought Salah was pushed into the area where the goal was scored. “They will tell us again it is an offside situation or whatever,” he said.
“To be honest, it is crazy. It is possible for this man to have never played football.
“That is silly to think, ‘Offside rule, let me see, page seven, there is someone between him and the goalie.'”
“Everyone needs referees, but they need to know how to apply the rules correctly.” What can you do to stop this from being a goal? That is a clear aim.
“It is just not OK,” Klopp said. Trafford can not get to the ball.
“It was a great goal, but Salah was pushed offside.”
A goal scored by Cody Gakpo for Liverpool was also taken away by VAR because Nunez pulled Charlie Taylor.
The words made by Klopp will also make Hooper feel bad because he was the centre of more controversy during Manchester City’s 3–3 draw at Tottenham this month.
He blew for a foul on Erling Haaland instead of playing advantage after Haaland set up Jack Grealish for a clear shot on goal.
Still, Burnley could not use their extra time to their advantage, and Klopp was happy that the Kop’s title push kept going.
“42 points,” he said. That makes me happy and is really cool. The season’s first half is over. What we did was fine at all times. Not 100%, but it is fine.
“That means that if Arsenal wins, we will not be more than one point behind them at the top of the table. That is very close.”
“ALIVE AND FAMILY FUN”
Salah is leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations early next month, so the Reds will need goals from Nunez and Jota, who just got back from injury.
Klopp said, “Diogo is a very important player for us; having him on the team changes everything.” The goal he scored was the goal of a boy who was sure of himself.
“Darwin’s goal was just as important.”
This season, Burnley has lost nine of its ten Premier League home games, but manager Vincent Kompany still thinks his team can do well.
He said, “We had our moments. The team fought and was fun to watch.” It just needs one last thing.
“I am sure they will take the next step.”
“Liverpool had one of the best teams when I played, and they are getting back to how intense they were when I played.”
