Odell Beckham Jr. celebrated Lewis Hamilton’s victory at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix all day long. Along with Canadian model Winnie Harlow, he drove supercars around the storied circuit with none other than Jean Alesi. Not too terrible for a workday, huh?
What we adore most, though, is that guy actually took the effort to color-match his supercar—that is, he matched with a car—in a fashion statement of epic proportions! However, Beckham’s impeccable sense of taste has been on display for some time, so we shouldn’t be too shocked by such opulent accessories.
Beckham, who was selected by the Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and who allegedly inked a five-year, $95 million contract deal in August of last year, has established himself as one of the league’s most well-liked and talented players. His bizarre and amazing attire, nevertheless, is what has made him more popular.
It’s important to keep in mind that this isn’t the NBA at this moment. There are no more paparazzi pictures of Tom Brady wearing rare, expensive clothing as he heads to the locker room, and there’s very little possibility that Luke Kuechly of the Carolina Panthers will be seated in the front row alongside Anna Wintour in the near future.
Thus, in terms of the NFL, and no offence to Antonio Brown, there are times when it seems as though the brilliant wide receiver has done so virtually by himself. Not persuaded? Talk about the Off-White x Nike poncho, the cream Calvin Klein double-breasted jacket, and the white polo neck. How about the entire Fendi ensemble, complete with a Friday the 13th mask emblazoned with Jason Voorhees’ likeness?
Alright, so his outfit from last weekend in Monte Carlo was more laid back, but he was still killing it. He was wearing an orange Richard Mille watch, a monogrammed Louis Vuitton pullover and a sharp pair of Converse, making him more than a match for the most fashionable F1 event of the year.
We’ve made the decision to model how to complete work on our days off after Beckham’s weekend. If only we could locate an outfit that goes well with a beaten-up Mazda.
