After eating a shoulder barge by Bukayo Saka, Kostas Tsimikas collided with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

After taking out his manager, the Greek defender was in excruciating pain.

Joe Gomez took his place when the left-back was subbed off.

Klopp and the Reds defender collided, and Tsimikas was left clutching his injured shoulder.

He was immediately transported to the hospital, where it was determined that he had broken his collar bone, leaving Liverpool with a major injury headache.

Andy Robertson is still out after shoulder surgery in October, and Tsimikas’ KO spoiled Klopp’s exciting match.

“It was massively overshadowed by Kostas’ collarbone issue, and it is definitely broken, so he is out for a long time,” he revealed.

“At first, I thought it wasn’t a big deal because I wasn’t in any pain.” Kostas would be fit again if I gave up my collarbone.

“I was fine, and I thought he was fine, but I asked Kostas, and he said, ‘no, it’s broken.'” Of course, that’s not acceptable, and you’re somewhat implicated.

“I’m not even sure if I fell on him, and things like this shouldn’t happen.” The other issues will have to wait, but the Robbo situation is difficult for us to swallow.”

Referee Chris Kavanagh fined Saka for the foul, but the Arsenal winger instantly expressed sorrow following the top-of-the-table stalemate, stating no malice was meant in the incident.

“I want to apologise to him,” Saka added. Of course, I didn’t intend it. I went shoulder to shoulder with him and it was a coin flip.

“I didn’t see him, but he must have fallen.” I didn’t saw him going after Klopp. I continued running because I didn’t believe it was a foul.”

Back in the middle After only three minutes, Gabriel headed Arsenal ahead, and Mo Salah equalised just before the half-hour mark.

As a result, the Gunners are in first place at Christmas. Klopp, on the other hand, believes Liverpool should have been awarded a penalty for Martin Odegaard’s handling inside the box.

The Arsenal captain survived because it was determined he was using his arm to stabilise himself when he collapsed. Klopp didn’t blow a fuse, but he did feel wronged.

“I’m pretty sure someone will tell me it’s not a handball, but I don’t know how,” he continued. I’m not saying the ref can see it because I’m not sure where he was.

“But how can a guy in an office see that and not come to the conclusion that maybe, possibly it could be worth the referee having another look?”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believed it was the greatest high-octane clash he had seen in two decades, and he is overjoyed that he will be a table topper at Christmas dinner.

“It was an unbelievable game, one of the most intense I’ve witnessed in 20 years in this league,” Arteta remarked.

“I’m glad we’re where we are. Tomorrow, we’ll have a lovely dinner with our family before returning to work.”

Klopp thought it was an honors-even match, and believes it demonstrated that Liverpool has what it takes to compete with the best in a title fight again.

“We are absolutely confident in the outcome,” he added. These results and performances against a top-tier opponent should inspire confidence.

“We did not play bad against City for example, but it was not as good as this, and you have to take these things forward.”
