In a recent commercial, ROY KEANE and his dog began a new career as fashion models.
Posing for the camera in adidas’ new outdoor collection, the no-nonsense hardman took a cue from his old teammate David Beckham.
During the new adidas launch, Roy Keane proved to be a popular model.
The former Manchester United player served as the collection’s face for Spezial AW23.
In the video, he launched a boat on Lake Windermere.
Keane walks his dog Jet through the rural areas of the Lake District in the video before piloting a boat across the water.
As he dressed for the winter season in an assortment of chic jackets and trainers, he thought back on his career, moving away from the beautiful game and what a slower pace of life looked like these days.
“I played to win from when I was eight or nine years old,” Keane stated.
You were genuinely experiencing the most exhilarating ride of your life.
“The incredible highs and the lows, oh my god. However, sometimes it takes losing to win.
“When a sportsperson’s career ends is actually their hardest struggle.
You have to accept the fact that you will never again experience those highs, even if you almost know it.
Never in my life will anything else give me the same rush.
“Winning things in the locker room with good teammates and players—oh, it really is amazing,” the player said.
“I’ve had a relatively wonderful life in terms of my family and job.
In actuality, I lead a really contented life.
“That can change from time to time, but overall, yes, I’m pretty happy.”
Keane, who had gained popularity as an analyst on Sky Sports and ITV in the past, was a natural in front of the camera.
The former Manchester United captain went above and beyond to model the adidas autumn-winter clothing, much to the delight of the fans.
Keane even gave up to a tiny smile for the camera.
The yellow jacket was a popular addition
Being in front of the camera, the Irishman looked natural.
“I never in my life expected to see Roy Keane as a fashion model,” one person commented. Bravo to the person who persuaded him to participate.
“Keano and adidas Spezial, it doesn’t get any better,” another commenter said.
“Legend, looks decent in the new gear,” a third person commented.
A fourth typed: “I love this man.”
And a final user simply commented: “Class.”
