‘PREPARE FOR HISTORY’: Man City stars train lightly to recover for the Club World Cup final against Fluminense

Pep Guardiola’s side advanced to the final of the competition following a 3-0 win over the Japanese outfit, courtesy of a Marius Hoibraten own goal and strikes from Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva.

And with the Club competing in the final of the Club World Cup for the first time in City’s history, Guardiola wanted to make sure the players who didn’t feature or tallied minimal minutes in the semi-final are maintaining fitness ahead of Friday’s match against Fluminense.

Manchester City’s stars took a light training session to aid their recovery.

Recognizing the importance of being in prime physical condition, the team focused on exercises aimed at rejuvenating their bodies and minds.

A win over the Brazilian outfit would see City become the fourth English team to win the prestigious prize, joining Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea who have already lifted the trophy.
