In an effort to bring some holiday pleasure to the kids receiving treatment at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, the Liverpool men’s team made its yearly Christmas visit there this past Monday afternoon. It is impossible for us to adequately thank Liverpool for their steadfast support.Explore the picture gallery below and watch the video that is situated above.Andrew Powell and John Powell took the pictures.
Jurgen Klopp visited the West Derby children’s hospital, a specialised facility that treats hundreds of thousands of young people each, with his Reds players during their tour.To commemorate the Christmas season, they visited with patients and their families on the wards, hearing about their experiences, taking pictures, and giving them some LFC gifts. They also had a meeting with Alder Hey employees.Every time we visit this place, I can always sense the parents’ energy. That seems to indicate that they are where they should be,” Klopp continued.
When you inquire about their well-being, the usual response is, “Oh, it’s a lot better than it was a week ago.” The atmosphere in which the physicians, nurses, and other staff members operate is very amazing, and there are many positive developments to mention. The lads are excited to be here and are conscious of their travel-related environmental effect. Some kids might be a little too young, but they will be thrilled when their parents show them the pictures when they’re older.
Although the last thing you want is for your child to have to visit the hospital, Alder Hey is, in my opinion, the best location to stay. There are not enough words to describe how much I value what these people are doing.”Liverpool’s visit is always a very special day at Alder Hey,” says Gill Kennedy, the engagement and VIP manager at Alder Hey. We welcomed the manager and team from Liverpool for their annual visit as part of our Christmas tradition. They made some truly amazing memories for our kids, families, and staff members while they were here. The fact that our kids and their families must spend Christmas in the hospital can be difficult for them, but their spirits are lifted when they get to see their beloved football players—a dream come true.
