Warren Zaire-Emery was Paris Saint-Germain ‘s homegrown hero last night, with an elegant finish helping Les Parisiens gain a point against Borussia Dortmund  to qualify for the Champions League knockout rounds. After going 0-1 down, Zaire-Emery scored a vital goal for PSG after a great combination with Kylian Mbappe, leveling the score at 1-1 to finish second in their group.

In a breathtaking match, Karim Ademyemi scored the first goal of the match at the beginning of the second half. It all started with an elementary error by Achraf Hakimi when the full-back lost the ball – a situation that gave Adeyemi an easy finish. However, Les Parisiens reacted quickly as Zaire-Emery rushed into the box and put the ball into the net.

GOAL evaluated PSG players at Signal Iduna Park:Goalkeeper & Defense

Gianluigi Donnarumma (6/10):

Made an instinctive save to keep his team ahead halfway through the first half. He blocked a few shots but couldn’t do anything to prevent the goal.

Achraf Hakimi (4/10):

Made a terrible back pass to give Dortmund the opening goal. Taken an incorrect free kick immediately afterwards. A disastrous performance.

Marquinhos (5/10):

Looked sluggish against Dortmund’s quick wingers. He received a rather silly yellow card. Not at his best after coming back from injury.

Milan Skriniar (6/10):

Try your best and make most of your defensive plays relatively effectively. Looks like this will be a quality contract.

Lucas Hernandez (5/10) :

A physical performance in the left-back position. Rushing into tackles, constantly making 50/50 tackles. Therefore, Hernandez does not provide enough attack power on the other side of the field.Midfielder

Vitinha (5/10):

Number 6 was misused. Didn’t show many duels and let Dortmund play easily in the middle.

Warren Zaire-Emery (8/10):

A great performance in the central midfield position brought him an important goal. Zaire-Emery plays much better when moved to a role closer to the strikers. A teenage hero!

Lee Kang-in (5/10):

Somehow, this player created a simple chance in the first half and was quite quiet after that. This is not his best performance.Striker

Randal Kolo Muani (3/10):

Missed a chance and had another denied by the goalkeeper in the first half. Lost in the second half and couldn’t keep up with the pace of the game.

Kylian Mbappe (7/10):

It seemed certain he would score before the break but was denied by Sule. Created a goal for Zaire-Emery with a great run. One of the best players in the world, even when he doesn’t score.

Bradley Barcola (6/10):

Volatile when on the ball, but some of his passing and connection is lacking. This player missed a big chance at the end of the match. Reserve & Coach

Manuel Ugarte (5/10):

Responsible for stabilizing everything, but once he entered the field, the midfield only became more chaotic.

Marco Asensio (No marks):

There’s no time to make an impact.

Carlos Soler (No marks):

Almost not on the field.

Luis Enrique (5/10):

He ranked number 6 as usual to prepare for a very physical match. PSG created many opportunities but largely failed to take advantage. They got the job done, but it was far from convincing fans. In the end, he was saved by results elsewhere.
