On what he called a “historic night” for the club, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp held a special Q&A session at Anfield for Reds fans.

Klopp was the main attraction at a free Anfield Road Stand test event on Monday. The event was an important part of the gradual opening of the new stand, which will eventually increase the number of people who can fit at Anfield from 54,000 to more than 61,000.

Building on the project started in September 2021, with the boss putting the first spade in the ground. He looked very excited to see fans in the brand-new top tier for the first time.

Klopp said, “I love it, it is unbelievable” when asked what he thought of the new stand. I had no idea what it would look like when it began.

“Now that I see it, I am really moved and a little emotional.” I do not think everyone knows how important this is in history, and I am happy to be here tonight.

“We are the first people to use this great place.” You can not see it from this side, but I have to tell you, it is great. What a lovely new stand. “I can not wait to put it to use.”

After the event, the boss did his famous three fist pumps, which made the 7,000 people there very happy.

The event began with a once-in-a-lifetime chance for kids from the Premier League Primary Stars program to play on the field with the LFC Foundation. None of the kids knew Klopp was watching from the sidelines. After their lesson, they were thrilled to get a picture with the manager.

The goal of the evening was to test the building, its systems, and the management plans. Supporters were asked to help with some very important tests. As part of the tests, people had to stay for the whole event, use the bathroom facilities, and practice getting in and out. At the end of the event, there was a fire alarm escape.

The club will find out from the licensing department of Liverpool City Council on Wednesday, December 13, if it passed the test event. If it works, more than 57,000 people could come to Anfield for the game against Manchester United on Sunday.
