The Swoosh showcased their new line of Mercurial shoes this past weekend in Paris at a special launch event that included Jadon Sancho of Manchester United and England.

To commemorate the release of the “New Lights” and “Under The Radar” colorways of the Mercurial Superfly 7 and Vapor 13, Nike threw another massive party in Paris. The Women’s World Cup Final in Lyon, further south, on Sunday will mark the debut of these boots. To usher in a new era of Nike speed, fast players for the USA and Holland will be donning the blue “New Lights” drop. Prior to that, however, the Swoosh pulled off a mercurial hit set in Paris.
.
In the charming Nanterre district of Paris, there was drone delivery of the Mercurial, men’s and women’s international players, and fast-paced football on a blue field. It was the ideal way to wrap up one season and begin a new one. Jadon Sancho, Andressa Alves, and Caroline Graham of Brazil all played on the field prior to Nike designers discussing the details of the upcoming Mercurial project.

A look forward to in-depth conversations with the Nike design team regarding their process and obstacles encountered while creating the next Mercurial. Jadon Sancho will also be interviewed on his incredible 2018–19 season, his future plans for the England and Dortmund star, and his expanded role at Nike in the upcoming shoe generation. Oh, and Mercurial hasn’t finished his initial moves yet. A first limited edition drop is scheduled for tomorrow, July 8.
