Rasmus Hojlund was unable to score in Man United’s 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, his first Premier League game.
Although he started the game on the bench, he replaced Anthony Martial in the second half.
Hojlund was in a serious goal-scoring position just before the Cherries’ second goal in the 67th minute.
Antony had put Diogo Dalot through inside the box following a lovely, flowing assault.
Perfectly positioned in the center, Hojlund made himself open for Dalot to pass to.
But the Portuguese defender took the self-centered route, trying to hit the sidenetting and score from an unusual position.
Hojlund was observed becoming enraged with his partner, accusing him of having easily given the ball to him so he could score.
For Man United, the Danish forward has failed to score in 12 Premier League games.
