Swift will turn 34 on December 13, a Wednesday. Her frenzied relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs player has garnered global attention ever since they went public in September. 

Swift was moving into Kelce’s stunning $6 million mansion in Kansas City upon her return from her South America Eras tour in November, which is a testament to how well things had been going between the two. Based on a surprising disclosure in Life and Style, the Chiefs star is apparently planning a lavish birthday celebration for next week.

He is planning a semi-surprise party with the help of some of her closest friends, in addition to organizing a romantic, private dinner just the two of them. Rumor has it that everyone, including Taylor, is hoping he’ll take the opportunity to pop the question.

Swift made their romance public on September 24 when she showed up for his game against the Chicago Bears. The NFL player then said he was feeling happier than he had after winning the Super Bowl in February. “As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know – I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world now,” he said at the start of October. 

Although Swift and Kelce’s entire dating history is unknown, she did affirm in a TIME interview this week that she was with him on the day she went to the Bears game. By the time I got to that first game, we were a couple. “We would never be insane enough to go on a first date hard,” Swift said.

That day, she was seated in Kelce’s personal suite at Arrowhead Stadium with Travis’s mother, Donna. Late in October, a story surfaced that Kelce and the singer planned to become parents in the future. In a Yahoo Entertainment article, a source claimed that “He and Taylor have even discussed having children.” Travis wants them within the next year or so, and Taylor is certainly game. 

He’s exactly the one she’s been waiting for. “I can see myself getting married to Taylor,” he remarked. In a November interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kelce also stressed how similar their family beliefs were.
