During the second half of Liverpool’s match against Sheffield United on Wednesday night, Alexis Mac Allister was forced off due to an injury.
Consequently, what happened?
During the first half of the midfield duel at Bramall Lane, the Argentine midfielder had to deal with a few hefty tackles. He returned for the second session, but just before the hour had passed, he went down and had to be replaced by Curtis Jones.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager, will be quite concerned about the injury. Joel Matip sustained an injury during the weekend’s match against Fulham, and the German coach has disclosed that he is likely to be off for a while. This has caused him to face yet another conditioning challenge. Andy Robertson, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara, Diogo Jota, and Alisson are already out for the Reds.
WERE YOU AWARENESS?
Since arriving to Liverpool during the summer transfer window from Brighton, Mac Allister has been a key player for the team. The World Cup winner has only missed one Premier League match this year due to a suspension that occurred during last month’s 3-0 victory over Brentford.
Next What?Klopp, J. Liverpool
With all of his current issues, Klopp will be praying that Mac Allister’s injury is not too catastrophic. The Argentine star’s availability for their matchup against Crystal Palace this weekend is still unknown.
