ARSENAL fans are demanding Aaron Ramsdale’s instant recall after David Raya gifted Luton two goals.
Gunners’ supporters rounded on their loanee stopper – with many wondering why he was ever made first-choice.

Elijah Adebayo pounced for Luton’s second goal
Ross Barkley’s effort somehow squeezed in under Raya
The Premier League leaders were 2-1 up until Raya flapped at a corner for Elijah Adebayo to level and then let Ross Barkley’s shot squirm in underneath him.
One Arsenal fan posted: “Ramsdale still better than Raya any day.”
Another wrote: “Ramsdale definitely having a laugh later tonight…”
A third claimed: “Every time I watch Arsenal it looks like Aaron Ramsdale should be playing
Kai Havertz tied the score at three, but Declan Rice won it in the closing seconds.
Nevertheless, even after winning, Arsenal fans knew exactly who was to blame for their heroes’ prolific goal-leaking.
Mikel Arteta’s decision-making was questioned by a perplexed fan after England star Ramsdale was benched for almost all of Arsenal’s crucial games this season.
.
He commented: “What makes Raya any better than Ramsdale?”
And Raya’s double gaffe was brutally broken down.
“Terrible at corners,” summed up the verdict on Adebayo’s goal – Luton’s second from a corner.
And “How did that go in?” spoke for many reactions when Barkley’s low shot went in.
For his part, Mikel Arteta refused to even discuss Raya’s performance, telling Amazon post-match: ‘I’m so happy with the team.’
Pressed for an opinion on Raya, he again deflected: ‘I have spoken with all the team and they are jumping. I’m a really happy manager today.’
Asked again by the BBC about the howlers, the manager said: ‘It’s part of the job, but I’m really happy with the team so let’s move on.’
He was a little more open about the matter in his post-match press conference, saying: ‘We have to defend better the situations as a team. There are certain things leading to the goals.
‘It’s not about blaming. We have never done it and we won’t do it now.’
But Premier League legend Alan Shearer did not hold back in criticising Raya, saying: ‘It’s the obsession with having a footballing goalkeeper these days where you forget the fundamentals of shot stopping and collecting a cross.
‘Raya never looks comfortable from the cross. It’s a huge error from the goalkeeper.’
It comes at a time when Ramsdale is being linked with a move away from the Emirates, with Newcastle tipped to make a move for him following the injury to Nick Pope.
