Nunez will try to raise his season goal total this afternoon, which is now seven goals in all competitions. When it comes to supporting teammates, the former Benfica player is only surpassed by Mohamed Salah with six assists.
Salah has a lot on the line this afternoon as well; if he scores for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team at Anfield against the Cottagers, he will reach 200 goals for the team. With a victory, Liverpool would close the gap on league leaders Arsenal to just two points.
This afternoon, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will play at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s team will be optimistic about winning all three points even if they have only triumphed once in their last four encounters with their opponents in north London.
