It was a freezing cold day at the City Football Academy but there is no chance for a respite with the title race heating up.

Just four points separate the top five with that quintent including City and Sunday’s visitors Tottenham.

While Spurs have lost their last three Premier League matches, Pep Guardiola is expecting another big test at the Etihad Stadium for the 16:30 (UK) kick-off.

The City boss was full of praise for new manager Ange Postecoglou and his fearless approach since arriving in the summer.

And he was putting his squad through their paces for what he predicts will be a hugely entertaining clash.
