During the match against Manchester City, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold was observed donning a pair of adidas Predator boots.
WHAT HAPPENED?
When Alexander-Arnold was selected for Liverpool’s starting lineup against Manchester City on Saturday, his choice of shoes drew attention. The Liverpool player seemed to be sporting a pair of next-generation adidas Predator footwear that had not yet been launched. Earlier in his career, David Beckham established a strong association with the Predators and the brand. Alexander-Arnold equalized right away to cap off their debut.

Alexander-Arnold’s footwear selection will make people wonder if he’s officially joining adidas. Since joining the athletic company in 2017, the Liverpool defender has served as the face of Under Armour, but his footwear selection for the City match raises the possibility that he may be about to undergo a shift.

Beckham’s gold Adidas Predator boots, which he wore when winning his 100th cap for England, are expected to sell at auction for £10,000. Bids for Beckham’s boots will start at £4,600 when they go on auction in Wellingborough on December 5 at 1:30 pm.
WHAT NEXT FOR ALEXANDER-ARNOLD?
Liverpool and Alexander-Arnold are back in Europa League action on Thursday against LASK. Fans will have to wait and see if the Liverpool defender sticks with his new boots for the match.
