Travis Kelce has been candid about his quick romance with Taylor Swift and the ways in which their relationship has altered his life.

Since he began dating Swift this year, the NFL player—who won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs—has gained even more notoriety. Their relationship became official when she attended Arrowhead Stadium in late September to support him.

J. R. Moehringer, who penned Prince Harry’s autobiography Spare, informed Kelce that someone on Swift’s staff assisted in putting them in touch after Kelce told Moehringer about his unsuccessful attempt to offer Swift his phone number following an Eras performance in Kansas City.

“She undoubtedly had allies who were aware of my identity and who urged her, ‘Hey! “Were you aware that he would arrive?” “I had someone play Cupid,” Kelce remarked.

But when they met in person, they clicked immediately, partly because of the Swift team member Kelce referred to as “a cupid.”

They scheduled their first date soon after. Even though Kelce generally exudes confidence when playing football, he was feeling uneasy.

“When I met her in New York, we had already been talking a little, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and talk, and then you know what will happen.”

“That was the most important thing to me: make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away,” he said, expressing his initial fear of making a mistake.

Yet, it’s evident that they got along because Kelce refers to Swift as a “genius” and “hilarious.”

Additionally, Kelce claimed that at a late-night party at his Kansas City home, he and Taylor sang “Teenage Dirtbag” together.

“There was definitely some wine involved,” he jokingly said.

Furthermore, Kelce mentioned that he is becoming accustomed to the impact that Swift’s success has had on his own life.
