Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, returned to training on Thursday and is likely to play next Sunday when Los Blancos travel to Cadiz for their first match following the FIFA break.
Bellingham missed two games for his club and two further matches for the English national team due to a dislocated shoulder he sustained in the encounter against Rayo. He has spent the previous three weeks healing from the injury.
With Ceballos’s return, coach Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield is finally deepened, thanks to the return of Eduardo Camavinga and the expected absence of Aurelien Tchouameni until after the Christmas break due to injury.
Thankfully, Madrid’s next schedule is quite lenient, so Ancelotti’s squad should be able to endure the current injury crisis without the two French midfielders. Brahim, Ceballos, and Joselu are all players that might see action.
