So much so that he was even spotted trying to gain access into what appeared to be a block of flats in the pouring Manchester rain.

But one plucky fan recognised the diminutive Portuguese playmaker.

He recorded himself yelling “Bernardo Silva” in an attempt to attract his notice.

However, Silva covered his head with his arm and pressed his face against the door while sporting a green jacket, City joggers, and sneakers.

The City ace glanced over his shoulder as the fan approached, then appeared to try to hide.

He then looked at the camera and asked: “What are you doing my friend?” before the video ends.

However, despite his initial frosty reception, the four-time Premier League winner did pose for photos with the supporter – although he barely managed a smile.

But fans found the whole exchange utterly hilarious.

One said: “What is he actually doing?”

Another wrote: “He did not want to take that picture lool”

A third added: “Playing hide-and-seek with the lads…”

And a final user commented: “Hahahaha priceless.”
