Three members of Liverpool’s senior team competed on Friday in international competition, with Ben Doak claiming an assist.

In qualification for the U21 European Championship, Scotland U21s beat Belgium 2-0, with Doak setting up the second goal.

The Reds attacker, who came in as an hour-long substitute in Roeselare, set up Lyall Cameron for a goal.

Trent Alexander-Arnold started and finished England’s 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifying victory over Malta at Wembley.

The Three Lions have already qualified for next year’s competition; Harry Kane added to an own goal by Enrico Pepe.
