From his childhood home in Liverpool, it’s a long distance.
A pool, theater, and waterfall are features of Steven Gerrard’s new Beverly Hills property. It’s a vast room with six beds that the celebrity has grown into.
The family of five—including the father, 35 years old, his wife Alex, 32, and their three daughters, Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, 9, and Lourdes, 3—recently relocated to Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Galaxy, for whom David Beckham formerly played for England, has signed him.
The 12,000 square foot, 18 million pound mansion is substantially different from Gerrard’s childhood home on Bluebell Estate, which is currently worth £77,000 and is considerably smaller.
Despite taking a salary drop to join LA Galaxy, the star has no problem affording the £35,000 rent each month.
Reportedly, his weekly salary from the agreement is £76,000, while his salary from Liverpool is £140,000.
Not only does he now live in the same neighborhood as Frank Sinatra and 77-year-old Jane Fonda, but he is also just yards away from the home of Elvis Presley.
After joining the Los Angeles Galaxy, Steven Gerrard moved into a six-bedroom mansion in the celebrity-studded Beverly Hills.
Mrs. Gerrard expressed her difficulty with the home-buying process this year, saying, “House hunting has been really hard.” All of the houses are beautiful. I really would like not to like any of them. Your first thought upon entering will be, “Wow, this is fantastic.”
The house has a spacious kitchen with all the necessary amenities, which is perfect for the Liverpool captain, his wife, and their three daughters.
Gerrard played for Liverpool for 17 years, and he left in January after 500 games. Post that, he became a part of Galaxy.
“I have a great relationship with them all and I’ll stay in touch,” he recently said of his unshakable affection for the childhood squad he once played on. In the winter, I’ll be there to cheer for the team—I’ll be watching every Liverpool game that airs live from a distance.
