On Liverpool’s website, Diogo Jota said he was still inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo in his efforts.

Jota has made a splash since moving to Anfield from Wolves in 2020. His performances were enough to quickly work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s first team plans and he has regularly performed well in the red shirt.

Jota has scored eight times this season after an ιnjury-plagued season. Only 26 years old, this striker believes he still has plenty of time to become the player he wants to be.

 Jota has a lot of confidence in his career.

He told Liverpool ‘s website :  “You have a lot of energy when you’re young but you still make a lot of mistakes and you always learn with experience. For example, I’ve always admired [Cristiano] Ronaldo and I think he He has scored more goals since he was in his 30s than before he was 30.”

“It also means that if you’re 26, you’re probably still far from your prime and that’s what I look forward to.”

Jota’s best scoring season came in the 2021/2022 season when he scored 21 goals – eight more than in his first season moving to Merseyside.
