Harry Kane, a striker for Bayern Munich, has said that he would love to play alongside Lionel Messi, a legend for Barcelona.
In an interview with ESPN, Kane was asked which current player he most wished to have on his squad.
And the England international picked Messi, just as so many others have before him.
Kane further, pointing to the World Cup winner’s artistic abilities and predicting that the two will have a fruitful alliance.
I wish I could play beside Messi. He is unquestionably among the game’s all-time greats. I have no doubt that he could provide me a hand.
Kane has had a spectacular start to the season, despite the fact that he is not now aided by the genius of Messi.
The 30-year-old has contributed to an astounding 19 goals and seven assists in only 14 games for German powerhouses Bayern Munich.
