However, things took a turn for the worst when Marcus Rashford was substituted for catching an opponent in the 42nd minute. Mohamed Elyounoussi’s goal came after his straight red card, and Harry Maguire then gave away a penalty for handling in the box.

At the break, the score was 2-2 thanks to a goal from Diogo Goncalves against Andre Onana.

Bruno Fernandes gave United a penalty kick in the 68th minute for a handball; however, their happiness was short-lived as Copenhagen equalized in the 83rd minute, with 17-year-old Bardghji scoring the winning penalty.
