Dominik Szoboszlai, a midfielder for RB Leipzig, is Liverpool FC’s second new player this summer. The Reds officially activated the £60 million buyout clause for the Hungary captain last week. The midfielder is expected to relocate to Anfield next week, and his long-term partner, Fanni Geecsek, will join him in Merseyside. 

Fanni Gecsek and Dominik Szoboszlai have been dating for a long time. They use social media to keep everyone up to date on their relationship and personal life. After Szoboszlai’s transfer to Liverpool, Gecsek posted a picture of their dog wearing a Liverpool-branded harness on Instagram, and the post quickly went viral among the club’s die-hard fans.

To whom do we attribute the name Fanni Gecsek? In the year 2001, Gecsek was born in Budapest, Hungary. She’s been seeing Szoboszlai since 2020, albeit at first they were discreet about their relationship. Szoboszlai’s stunning girlfriend is an athlete as well. From 2017 through 2019, Gecsek was an active tennis player who competed in ITF tournaments.

She was very vocal about sharing her tennis activities online. It is common knowledge, however, that she has retired from that line of work in recent years.

The Hungarian tennis star turned professional has decided to pursue a career as a model and social media influencer instead. Among the many fashion labels she’s collaborated with are Adidas and Amnesia by Eva Prokai.
