Declan Rice disclosed his close bond with his Arsenal teammate in a talkSPORT quote.
Declan Rice, who transferred from West Ham to Arsenal, is a well-known summer addition to the Premier League. Rice adjusted to Emirates quite quickly. Among Rice’s England teammates at Arsenal are Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka.
However, according to Rice, the British couple are not the rookie’s best friends. Sharing quotes from talkSPORT, the star born in 1999 revealed a surprising revelation about his best friend:
“Yeah, you know what, from the first day I was there, Leandro Trossard.
“You wouldn’t put us two together but he’s like a really, really top guy.
“I sat next to him on the plane and I’ve been with him here quite a lot, he’s just an all-round top person. I’ve really got on with him.
“And playing against him in the past as well, he was always a pain so it’s nice to have him on my side now, such a top player.”

Rice would have known a handful of players before making the switch across London this summer.
In the England camp, the midfielder knows Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Ben White.
And he and Eddie Nketiah came up through the Chelsea academy together, meeting each other nine years old.
But, like Rice, Trossard is a new face at Arsenal recently after signing from Brighton in January.
The Belgian international has proved an instant hit with fans after a fine spell, immediately making an impact.
In 22 appearances, he registered 10 assists as the Gunners challenged City for the Premier League crown, falling at the final hurdle.
The Arsenal coach has been keen to bolster his squad to cope with the higher amounts of workload necessary to fight on multiple fronts.
