Converse and Liverpool FC are releasing their second limited-edition capsule collection this month.

This new capsule collection draws from Liverpool FC’s rich history while also reflecting the unique tastes of today’s worldwide soccer fans.

The Liverpool FC x Converse Fall Holiday 23 collection was influenced by the club’s logo, uniform, and fonts.

The club’s die-hard fan following served as inspiration for the first ever limited-edition capsule collection. The second series of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership honors the club’s fans and the anthems played at Anfield while also looking forward to the team’s promising future.

Along with this ad, Converse also launched a campaign called “Creating from the Ground Up,” which gave prominent Liverpool Football Club (LFC) supporters a voice in the making of the ad and signified a shift from ideation to implementation.

In a statement, Converse Western Vice President and General Manager Steven Bramble said, “Building on the success of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, we couldn’t be prouder to launch the FH23 collection and campaign, which celebrates the rich history of Liverpool FC, while bringing to the forefront the creativity of LFC fandom.”

Musicians and die-hard Liverpool fans including multi-genre artist Dredz, singer/songwriter Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly are featured in the campaign alongside male and female players like Darwin Nunez, Taylor Hinds, and Missy Bo Kearns.

Together with the leaders of Homotopia, an LGBT+ arts and social justice group located in Liverpool and a Converse social and community impact partner, Sterling, Pixey, and Dredz have led the creative direction of the campaign.

Up until the year 2023, Converse will fund Young Homotopia’s Creative Skills program. Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, Sian Bennett, Kolade, and DJ Lauren Lo Sung, all members of the Homotopia collective and avid Liverpool Football Club fans, provided inspiration for the campaign’s overall tone and aesthetic.

The goal of the Liverpool FC x Converse relationship is to unite fans who are working to make the sport more inclusive, progressive, and artistic. This novel method represents this goal.
