According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jnr., completed his move to Al-Nassr on Thursday and will be joining the club’s U15s team.
The young footballer, only 13 years old, has decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the Saudi Arabian club.
He has played for the youth teams of Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United and is widely considered to have professional potential.
And Fabrizio Romano has admitted that, in an effort to mature faster, he will be playing with kids younger than his own age.
Despite being just 13, Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr. will be joining the U15 group for training, according to a tweet from Romano.
This week, he’ll join the squad in training and will wear No. 7.
After being released from his contract with Manchester United and ultimately electing to quit European sport, Ronaldo and his family relocated to the Middle Eastern country in January.
Ronaldo Jr. has gotten off to a strong start in his professional career, scoring 25 goals in eight games while playing for Juventus. He will now wear his famous father’s No. 7 jersey.
All sides have signed off on the deal, and the kid will begin practicing with his new teammates soon.
This isn’t the first time the five-time Ballon d’Or and serial Champions League champion has spoken publicly about his eldest son’s desire for him to delay retirement so they can participate in a game together.
Ronaldo made the following statement last year: “My son tells me: dad, hold on a few more years, I want to play with you.”
To have any chance of playing with Ronaldo, who turns 39 in February, he’ll need his father to keep playing into his own retirement age.
Ronaldo became a father for the first time in June 2010 at the age of 25 when his son, Cristiano Jnr., was born; the name of the mother has never been made public.
The kid has watched his famous dad play for Man United and Real Madrid, but his dad has said there’s no pressure on him to follow in his footsteps and become a professional football player.
I will never put any pressure on him. Ronaldo has earlier said, “He will do anything he wants.
That Cristianito and everyone else gets to do what makes them happy is my ultimate goal for them. In every way I can, I will back you.
