Manchester United has sent a strong indication that Jadon Sancho’s days at the team are gone.
The winger and manager Erik ten Hag had a falling out, and he hasn’t played for the Red Devils since the end of August.
As he continues to train independently, it now seems possible that he won’t play for the club again.
Sancho’s exclusion from United’s 2023–24 squad picture suggests there may be no turning back to Old Trafford.
First team players posed for the photo at their Carrington training facility.
Sancho, nevertheless, was not present for the photo session because he is still on the first team’s outlist.
Due to his conflict with Ten Hag, the 23-year-old is prohibited from first-team areas at Carrington.
When Sancho was left out of the matchday squad to play Arsenal in September, he accused his manager of lying.
Ten Hag had stated in a since-deleted social media post that Sancho had contested his exclusion due to his subpar training results.
After their argument, Sancho’s future at the team is still up in the air; he was on the verge of departing before the Saudi Pro League transfer window closed.
Following his £73 million transfer from Dortmund in 2021, Sancho has made 82 appearances for United, tallying 12 goals and dishing out six assists.
His current deal has more than two years left on it, and the club has the option to extend it by one more.
